Whats going to happen with that xbox ban mod menu?

So I heard theres a mod menu going around that can ban people. Is this a real issue? I've seen a lot of people talking about it but a lot of people jump on the trending train to get views. So is this a real issue and how can I pervent it if it is a issue? I've had my account for years and it holds a lot of sentimental value to it. I just don't want to lose it because a little kid got mad I killed him. Thanks...

There is no 'exploit' that we are aware of. If there were, it would be all over the gaming press by now. It isn't, therefore it's nothing more than fake internet rumour, which should be taken with a large grain of salt.

There has always been a totally false belief, even going back to the 360 era, that if you didn't like someone on Live you could just spam the complaint system or get all your friends to do the same and that person would be banned. It doesn't work like that and it never will.

If you try to cheat the complaint system, the only person who's going to get banned is the person or persons filing the false complaints.

Using a modding menu will get you banned. It's against TOS.

Hi, you can get banned on any gears of war game. If your not sure why you are banned then you will have to get in touch with Epis about this issue, Microsoft cannot offer you anything with this issue. You may have banned for glitching, modding, unfair play,
cheats or you could been in a modded game without even knowing, that can happen. It happened all the time with modded lobbies in MW2/3. People into modding are just ruining games for everyone else, go mod a PC if you have to mod at all

The only way to safely mod is if the game has an in-game mod menu. Anything else will put you at risk of a ban
