    For some reason, the last week, I could not access the XS version of MW2. I was playing it on game pass but I thought they had discontinued it on there so I purchased it so I could finish the campaign. Now neither the game pass nor the paid version will work on Campaign!

    Things I've tried ..

    Restarted the console.

    Completely removed COD and reinstalled.

    Tried on 2 other consoles.

    Tried other COD campaigns and they work fine.

    Looked for outages. None reported.

    I'm sorry you're having issues with COD Modern Warfare 2's campaign mode not working.

    Of the COD games I've played (everything from COD3 to MW2) COD4's campaign was thoroughly enjoyable gameplay-wise, World at War's was aesthetically superb, and MW2's was like an enhancement of COD4's with a wider variety of vehicle rides thrown in. I've
    heard from several friends that COD2 had the best campaign AND multiplayer, though.

    COD4 isn't a direct sequel to previous COD's; it is more of a successor. MW2 and MW3 on the other hand are direct sequels to COD4. MW2's campaign wasn't bad but the MW3 campaign sucked. Would have been better leaving it at COD4 imo.

    I'll even go out of my way to say cod 4 sucked and mw2 was better. I only really liked the campaign, best cod campaign tied with mw3. JMHO.
