    What will I lose by clearing local saved data?


    I have an issue on Minecraft Xbox One Edition which won't let me play it. It seems that the best option to fix it is by clearing my local save data. It says that next time I load up the game, it will sync data from the cloud and I'm assuming I won't lose
    any data. However, before I do this, I would like to know if I will lose any data on my Xbox, or if it will all just sync and I will lose nothing. I also would like some conformation that xbox one automatically saves data to the cloud, which would give me
    more hope that it will just re-sync and I won't lose anything. Thank you.

    If you played while connected to Xbox LIVE it most likely saved to the cloud. I personally have never experienced any game save not automatically uploading to the cloud when saving. Everything should re-sync when loading Minecraft back up.

    If you really want to be extra safe if you have a USB flash drive or any external hard drive laying around, you can always transfer your save files there before clearing your systems local saved data.

    please try clearing local saved games, go to settings-system-storage-clear local saved games. you will not lose any data saved to the cloud. hopefully this sorts it, if not just come back to us and see how we can help you further.

    You may want to stop the install. Uninstall the game and before you try installing again. Clear local saved games. Don't worry you won't lose anything. Its all saved in the cloud. To clear the saved data- Go to settings. All settings, System, Storage,
    Delete local saved games.

    Try going into your settings and clearing local save game data by following Settings > System > Storage > Clear Local Saved Games. Afterwards it may have you restart your Xbox. No worries about losing this save data as long as your console is online. Let us know if this helps!
