What to do if my xbox wont turn on

I tried updating my controller but when I was doing that it got missed up now my xbox 1 controller wont turn on know whats wrong with it

thats not the proble. it still forces my xbox off like the other one applying the update. all i want to know is what do i do for when it turns off ? or can you describe what i should do while it updates ? as in what should i do when it turns off than wait for it ? because it wont turn back on when it does turn off ?

I have a problem and I don't know where to go or what to do. I turn on my Xbox and it turns on but wont display on the tv that's on and when I try turning it off I have to press the Xbox button multiple times and even my controller will tun on the Xbox
but won't connect restarted it I've disconnected the power supply but still, I don't know what to do.

Going to sound really dumb but what app do i delete? Normally i just play all my games and it comes up with quests ready to turn in but it wont wont let me turn them in and theres a lock symbol next to all my quests ive completed...
