What to do if my code says that it was purchased from a different region and cant be redeemed

I bought an Egyptian code for Minecraft while i was at America with an American debit card but now im in Egypt. Once i try to redeem the code it says that it was purchased from a different region and cant be redeemed. My money just want straight into the trash. Please any help would be appreciated

You cant. Your friend will have to request a refund for the code and purchase a code for you that is meant for your region.

Well first you couldnt have used an American creditcard tp buy an Egyptian code unless you got.it from.a third party site

I understand how frustrating that must be, you would have to contact the seller for a refund or redeem the code on an account that's set to the correct region. The region of a code cannot be changed.
