Hae you tried not blocking the two vents ?

If.positioned sideways

Make sure you have 5.' On either side

If standing up.DONT PUT it on carpet as per the warning on the box

As the vents are ontop and the bottom

If you block.the bottom.the air.wont flow

I'm gonna try a couple more times. I only have a certain window to return to GameStop but the problem is they will only refund I don't want a refund. I finally was able to get a console at launch and want to keep it because no telling how long it will
be until you can just grab one off the shelf.

Ok so my xbox series x is a worthless piece of plastic. I used it for one hour on 11/14 and now it wont turn on at all. I tried all the tricks to no avail so now I want to send it for repair. Made a online ticket but never received the email with
label. So I call this morning to hatch this out with a cool mind. Still never received the email after being told they would send it to my alternate email. Also was told they would call back to check if I received it, no call ever happened. So now getting
a little peeved so after another attempt to have them call me and being placed on hold then hung up on. So I try another time and another 90 min again nothing but silence on the phone. As a loyal Microsoft customer I feel let down. This is the second console
in a row I had to send back. Not happy so my hope is someone with Microsoft will see this and help me out. Not holding my breath though.

My experience so far has been:

Wed 11/11: no call except 2 robo calls saying I would not get a call today

Thu 11/12: Received a call and spent about an hour troubleshooting my Series X. Was disconnected and he called me back almost immediately, after a little more troubleshooting we were disconnected again and he did not call me back.

Fri 11/13: Received a call in the morning and he was taking my serial number and the call 'dropped'. Waited for him to call me back and that didn't happen. Tried my luck again and received a call in the afternoon that 'dropped' after about 30 seconds.

Saturday 11/13: Didn't even try, took a day off.

Sunday 11/14: Received a call and seemed to make progress with my situation and problems. I am now 1 hour 20 minutes on hold waiting to be transferred to the 'Hardware' group. I'm starting to have my doubts this is going to happen.

Sigh.

Just hung up at 2.5 hours on hold. I was really hoping this was the one. I guess I'll start again tomorrow.

Thanks for trying but I know these tips it was set on top of my entertainment center so air flow was no problem and it was standing up. I only used it an hour and it doesn't even light up.
