I'm sorry you are experiencing any trouble right now. No worries, I'm here to help you. Your son's Microsoft account might be a child account and the system has detected it. In order to have your son's account access the auction house from Forza, you will need to manage its Xbox privacy settings using an adult Microsoft account.

(A child account is registered on the birthdate 21 years old and below upon the account's first creation

An adult account is registered on the birthdate 22 years old and older upon the account's first creation)

If you don't have an adult Microsoft account, please create one on account.microsoft.com and please make sure to register the account's birthdate to 22 years old or older.

If you already have one, please sign in to the adult account on account.microsoft.com > then go to Family > then add your son's account under "Family Member" (Your account should be under Organizer)

Once it's done, here's how to manage your son's account Xbox privacy settings using your adult account:

Sign in to your Microsoft account at Xbox.com.

Select your Gamertag, and then select the More actions button (…).

Select Xbox settings, and then select Privacy & online safety.

Note Because you’re accessing sensitive info, you may have to enter your password or PIN.

Select the gamertag for the account that you want to manage.

Select either the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety tab or the Privacy tab.

Review the current settings and update all of the options as Allow and Everyone, and then select Submit to save the changes.

Note: You must select Submit at the bottom of the page before leaving or switching to another tab. If you don't submit the changes before you move to the other tab, your changes won't be saved.

Have the member sign in and then sign out of their account on the console to make sure the changes take effect.

Once it's all done, you can sign in to your son's account and check if he will be able to access the Forza Horizon auction/ message center gifts.

All of my Microsoft and Xbox games are downloaded on my external drive including the previous Horizon, which is Forza Horizon 4. I changed where new apps are stored when downloaded from the Microsoft store to my external drive but it still wont download Forza Horizon 5 to my external drive. On the Xbox app it wont show my external drive as an option to download to. I am able to download any game from the Microsoft store and Xbox app to my external drive except Forza Horizon 5.

Sorry, don't understand why my other son won't be able. His account is where the subscription is set up on. As I said it's the original xbox and first one.

My son has been playing online no problems on forza horizon 4. But forza horizon 5 won't let him.

He also plays rocket league and fifa 21 online no problem's.

Need this sorted so it works without having to pay 2 live passes.

There's no settings to change what side of the road you drive on, if the games locations is set to a country where they drive on the left, then you drive on the left, if it's set to a country where they drive on the right, you drive on the right,

Forza Horizon is set in the USA and drives on the right,

Forza Horizon 2 is set in Europe and drives on the right,

Forza Horizon 3 is set in Australia and drives on the left,

Forza Horizon 4 is set in the UK and drives on the left,

and where ever Forza Horizon 5 will be set, we'll drive to that country's side of the road.
