  1. What policy did I violate?

I received a two day communications ban on Xbox Live, there appears to be no way to protest or dispute this and per the email it was due to a Looking For Group post which all it said was "DMZ LET'S GO BR*ND*N".

I put asterisks because apparently this free speech is being censored and punished.

I would like to know what policy is in violation and how that justifies a suspension.

    :)

I have another question, what happens if you delete the “Protected - It is a violation of Windows Policy to modify”?

Can I have my account back please?

Well, if the account is actually at fault and did in fact violate policies, then it would remain "permanently" banned. If the account creator thinks Microsoft may have made a mistake and got the enforcement wrong, then the appeal option is available. Under no circumstance can we violate policies (permanent bans take ALOT) and expect Microsoft not to enforce the exact policies we ALL agree to abide by.

I am sorry but if it's a "Permanent" ban, nothing can be done.

How is this ok on xbox?

It takes longer than a few days, nothing is instant. If what they did violates the policies, the Enforcement Team WILL take the necessary steps.

As long as you don't engage and block them, you've done all you need to do.

    Open case review IMPOSSIBLE????????

I will ask him about the LFGs but I don't think that's it based on the below.

I did get email but it does not tell me anything except they took down whatever was offensive.

Here is what it does say...

This violation was brought to the attention of the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team through complaints filed by other Xbox Live players or in the course of our operation of the service. After reviewing any complaints and other available evidence, the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team determined that a violation of the Microsoft Services Agreement occurred and enacted the appropriate enforcement.

But I don't know what he did.

He is Autistic so I have to be very specific with him to teach him.

    Thanks

Why can people message me “****” and “****” and “*****” and other insults, yet when I respond with “don’t be mad you got pooped on” I get banned for 4 days?

    Hello there!

My name is Jonny and I will be the Independent Advisor for Microsoft assisting you today!

First, thank you so much for contacting us regarding your concern.

Im sorry for your experience. Microsoft does NOT read your chat logs in full. They will read what the report stated and will look at the last messages you had sent. Their job is to enforce policies so whether he/she violated policies or you did, a suspension will be issued.

Question, did you report the other player?
