What Makes a Game Truly Memorable for You?

I dont know man, I would think a true Dead Space fan would want to revisit what made the first game so memorable, and stay away from the gimmicky TPS, gears rolling all over the place shooter direction it seems to be heading in.

For the record, I do not know enough about DS3 to make a truly qualified decision. This is just typical forum chatter, inspired from seeing about 5 minutes of video. For all I know, it could be the best thing they have done to the series.

That's a shame but I agree, a broke game (or a game with a lot of bugs) is going to make you feel robbed compared to a game that once polished, could be one hell of a memorable time.

No Dark Souls/Demon's Souls or Dragon's Dogma mentioned?

Everyone here except for me is a filthy casul.

[/quote]Perhaps you are the casual, especially if you found those games hard, lol.

True, they do become easy once you memorize enemy movesets, etc.

Then again, the same think goes for all games that don't incorporate artificial difficulty. i.e., all truly difficult games.

I'm going to list my most memorable games too, because this thread is becoming a rather repetitive.

And wow, some of you have insanely long lists. (I shudder to think how much some of you spent!) I guess I'm a very casual gamer in comparison.

PC - (Most memorable games - All the id titles, specifically Quake 3 Arena)

PS1 - was my first console (Most memorable games - Ridge Racer and Final Fantasy 7 & 8)

Xbox 1 (most memorable game - KOTOR)

PS2 - (Most memorable games - Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid)

Xbox 360 - (Most memorable games: Fallout 3 and Mass Effect Series)

It took me a while to finally get a PS3 because I think it was around $500 when it came out and I thought that was ridiculous.

PS3 - (Most memorable games: Heavy Rain and MGS4)

Xbox Slim

The most memorable moment I had on Xbox was when my best friend that I hadn't talked to in a long time sent me a message and a friend request. We hadn't talked in years and honestly I really missed him. He was like a brother to me, and to finally rekindle
our friendship, it was truly amazing. Thank you for the question!
