    What laptop is best for hogwarts legacy?


    I'm currently looking at buying a laptop that I can play hogwarts legacy and maybe the last of us on.

    I'm not want to spend too much.

    I was looking at the Acer Nitro 5 15.6-inch i5-12450H/16GB/512GB SSD/RTX4060 8GB Gaming Laptop

    But then I have also seen the Acer Nitro V 15.6-inch i5-13420H/16GB/512GB/RTX4050 - Black

    I can see that there some differences but I don't know which would be better. I can currently get them for close to the same price but unsure which is better.

    Absolutely; this laptop is well above the recommended specs for Hogwarts Legacy so the game should run great on it.

    Hogwarts is open world, so the CPU is more important than the GPU, but i would agree a 60 series is a minimum. I can't emphasize enough not to ignore your CPU

    I would echo buy a desktop, you'll get far more power for your money, and far more longevity

    The form factor of laptops isn't good for getting rid of heat, which is the major byproduct of gaming.

    Nitro 5. The Nitro V's RTX 4050 is a pretty bad graphics card. The 4060 is miles better.

    Why does it need to be a laptop though? Gaming laptops consume a lot of power off the battery. To use them in any meaningful way, they need to be plugged in.

    A gaming desktop is a better option as at least these have upgrade options.

    Hi Cassie. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

    The Nitro V has a newer CPU than the Nitro 5, but it has a weaker GPU. Out of these 2 options, I'd recommend the Nitro 5, you'll notice the extra GPU power more than a slightly better CPU. Please reach back if you have further questions.
