What is up? 17 years loyalty for this.

I have been an Xbox live gold member for 17 years and I come to find out they are doing away with it for game pass. Not only are they getting rid of it but the new version that's "gold", game pass ultimate, is nearly double the money? I don't want access to hundreds of games I don't play. I bought Minecraft, try to log in today and it's blocked behind the game pass wall. The change isn't supposed to happen yet but I'm still blocked from the game I purchased. So I "upgrade" to the basic game pass subscription and Minecraft still doesn't work. They've locked it away behind the ultimate version. So now I've lost several months of what should have been a gold subscription just to play a game I have already purchased. What is up with this?

Keep..in mind gamepass core replaces gold .not gamepass.has includes .gold and gives you access to.25 games. and it Costs the same as gold

All companies value loyalty from their customers.

The great problem is that many companies get customer loyalty but do nothing to try and retain it or come up with 'reward' schemes that give them the appearance of cheapness.

It's that loyalty that makes people stick with a brand even though it may not be the best in the field at what it does. Just look at the mad loyalty that most Apple users seem to have to their iPhones.

Loyalty, loyalty loyaty. Why do you keep mentioning your loyalty? It had nothing to do with loyalty. That is what people are not understanding. And you favor a version of the giveaway that would reward you. Seems a little selfish
