    What is the point of Support Tickets?


    I put a support ticket in for an issue with a game about 3 or 4 months ago. At the time of the initial support chat I sent some screenshots to Xbox via a link the support rep gave me and I was provided a support ticket number. So after a month or so I started
    another support chat because there is no way to check the status of a support ticket with Xbox.com's system. I asked for a status and the rep said that they are short handed, so be patient and the support team would let me know. One additional point, my issue
    was escalated to a higher tier team.

    So after about two and a half months I decided to find out a status for my ticket. The support rep did the canned intro and I asked what is up with this support ticket and I gave my number they gave me the first time. This support tech asked if I had talked
    to the Gaming Department. I said no all the chats I have had so far never mentioned a gaming department. So the rep proceeded to give the link and steps to get in contact with.......Expert Gamers. Yeah a gamer is going to figure out my support issue. So pretty
    much support tickets are worthless and Xbox pretty much just hopes you go away if you have a problem. Good luck to those that get support tickets. My expert told me to do what? Yep, wait some more.

    It depends on what support ticket you have sent. May I ask what specific support ticket is this? Is this a game support ticket, device support ticket, etc.?

    Why don't support actually support us players?

    what good would deleting and re-downloading the app do when as stated I've already tried that and nothing changed? I've tried everything on my end up to and including a factory reset of the console and achievements still aren't registering and I still can't claim the daily 50 points. Us players have a support team that don't really support us because we put tickets in and wait a week for a reply but they close tickets within 24 hours of their last email to you without any resolution of the issue you put the ticket in for!

    You would need to either chat with support or request a call back at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us If you're not seeing those options, change your category/topic until
    you do. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.
