What is the BEST class in the game?

Ah, thanks for the response, that definitely opens up more possibilities for new characters, don't be surprised if you see another "large >" in the Infiltrator slot sometime soon then...

 

I don't think there is a best class. Everyone has their own strengths and weakness'. It just depends on your play style I think.

Also the game is amazing. You will enjoy it!

There is no BEST class in the game, it's all up to personal preference. I'm a Titan Defender and love the survivability of it, although I'm think about starting a Hunter or Warlock to see what they're like.

Is the game any good? Absolutely, it's awesome!! It's a hybrid of Halo and Borderlands with some MMO-lite features sprinkled in. The game is based around looting gear and grinding, so if you're expecting quick and easy gratification you'll be disappointed.
I've been playing since it came out and just reached level 26 this morning and it's taken ages to gear up but I love that sort of thing. The game starts out a bit slow but once you hit level 20 the game really takes off and becomes scarily addicting.

Bungie has laid a solid foundation and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the future.

 

Thanks Guys and what is Defender. I thought there were only 3 classes. Hunter, Warlock and Titan.

 

Im glad it is not quick and easy gratification because that is what keeps me playing the game! Because you said that I pretty sure I will get it but the only problem.........when.

 

I got all three about lvl 20-21 and I can't say which is best. I find Warlock the hardest to play (at present) but I think it's because I'm levelling up Sunsinger which may work for some but I think I'll be using Voidwalker meself.

The most appreciated by Raid teams seems to be Titan - not that I've played any yet but I watched streams and almost always there's the call "Any Titans watching and available hook up now!"

 

Each class has two subclasses. Defender is one of the titans.

 

Okay thanks so Barry, Voidwalker and Sunsinger are subclasses? And Irgun what are all of the sub classes? (if you know them)
