    What is the average time it takes for an update be certified and released to the public?

    Terraria's developers Pipeworks submitted an update last friday and I was wondering how long does this process usually take?

    Patch will be released tomorrow (Friday 15th)

    4J Studios just said via Twitter that the patch has been certified and will be released tomorrow.



    Here is a reminder of what the patch will fix/add. Remember this is not the big update with pistons etc - 4J said they estimate early July for the release of that one.

    it takes 3 Weeks for software going on the XBL Market Place to be Certified and if you want an update, you have to play XXX amount of cash (as a Developer).

    CDs cost money, and again, it take time and money to press and ship.

    Ok is this the public update that was released days ago or is the a preview program new update? No problems for me on the public update that went out days ago.

    Unrolling from a preview build on xbox insider.

    not exactly how It works

    It takes 3dayd to uneroll.yes

    But to.get a stable build you must wait till the current public release become public

    You cannot get an old.update to.overwrute a newer update

    You must wait till the next public release

    Hey there.

    Your console is likely still in the preview program, so you're now receiving the preview updates for the next system update that will be released to the public soon. If you'd like to stop getting the preview updates, you'll need to unenroll your console
    through the Preview Dashboard app - the unenrollment will take effect once this update being tested is released to the public... you'll only receive the monthly public updates after that.
