Wouldn't they be referring to Ray Tracing witch is a method of synthesizing (also understood as rendering) of three-dimensional graphics by computers.

Hi there Vijayadithyan.N welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Those things are part of the Direct X Ray tracing! We use these things for supporting graphics technologies such as Variable Rate Shading, Sampler Feedback Streaming, Hardware Custom Residency Map Filtering, and DirectX Ray Tracing Acceleration.

The blu ray is from red box (so its new), my blu rays 007:QoS and Inception (older blu rays) work fine.

Microsoft isnt blue ray. So it cannot be done. Next gen x box will be blue ray.
