    What IS error code 0x87e50014??


    I’ve been searching online for an answer (in the span of less than an hour or something) and nobody seems to even know the answer. To be clear, all of my games work except one game that I’ve been having trouble downloading and playing for some reason. It is only THAT game which I’m getting the error.

    I’m only asking because I wanted to know if anyone genuinely know what this error even is. The solutions (that I have very shortly scoured for) range from factory resetting the Xbox to shipping it to Microsoft so they could either secretly fix it without telling you the underlying issue OR just straight up tell you to buy or get a new Xbox.

    To clarify, my Xbox series S has no problems loading my other games besides the ONE weird game. I’m fine with redownloading it or whatever. I’m just asking to see if anyone knows literally anything about this error code because there is no information about error 0x87e50014 anywhere on the internet. I don’t know WHY Microsoft has cast a shade of mystery on this error without giving any explanation, but I’m just genuinely curious what the hell this is.

    Hi A, my name is Joel, I'm here to help you with any problems or questions you may have.

    Unfortunately, the only option to fix this error is to uninstall the game that is experiencing the problem and then perform a factory reset while choosing the option to keep the rest of the installed games and applications. Once the factory reset is complete and your console is set up again, download the game that was having the problem again, and it should work correctly.
