what happens when you 'chat with xbox support'

when you click 'chat with xbox support' you have to enter your account info, and then write a short description about your problem, finally clicking a button that says 'start chat'

what happens after this? do you wait for a chat window to appear? do you receive an email? phonecall?

do you have to keep the window after the information/description window open for the chat to continue?

Unless you are using a mobile device, or have a browser with a pop-up blocker, clicking on the button after entering your information and problem description, a small chat window should pop up, where you are then connected to a support agent.

When I go on Xbox Support I talk to a Xbox Gamer who are also good with support you and your problems.

For me it normally brings up a chat window that includes who was recently active and what message you sent to them.

When someone has replied to your message, they will send you a message. I also normally get told that I will get an email if someone replies.

They can sometimes reply instantly so keep the window open to keep an eye on it.
