What happens when you can't apply a restore with OSU as an insider?

This is a realistic and worrying question for me as an insider since I didn't see any viable answers to this except "wait" maybe weeks or months for a later stable version to come out, which I could consider a serious problem for those of us who are helping a company.

I don't know if support gives a solution privately or if they force you to carry out a procedure with sending the console, and if this would have any cost since it is out of warranty, which... could promote users out of warranty and older consoles to stop supporting to diagnose problems.

A minimum universal OSU that allows you to update later to a later or current one would be a solution even if it requires an internet connection, another option might be for support to prepare specific OSUs for insider users for that build only when it is really necessary (most builds should not have problems).

Osu doesn't put you on the current update it put you back at the base os you still.need to connect online to update the console

Are you part of the insiders program?

If so DONt use the osu

You must remove yourself first but since you used the osu you need a Windows 10 pc then download the insiders hub to remove yourself

When troubleshooting insiders issues you must use the regedit xboxinsiders

And.no you can't use osu with insiders as per the insiders aggreement as the os would.be higher then any current public release

You would need to remove yourself beforehand and then factory reset to restore the base os

you can't use the OSUs as they are not compatible with the Insider builds.

I just want to point out that members of the Insiders preview program CANNOT use OSU's to perform a system update. The member MUST leave the program prior to attempting an Offline System Update (OSU) and usually a factory reset is applied when leaving the
program.

Ok question are you in the insiders program?

If so.DONT use the osu

As per your aggreement you arent supposed to.use the osu

As the beta is higher then public release

And that is bios restoring

It factory resets the os

Now if you are insidera first removw the console.from insiders program via the hub if you can get into hub

If you cant you need q windows 10pc snd use the insiders hub app to remove it
