What happens when there's no more GAME STORES?

I have to say I agree with you, this is just the way things go. When you look back at how the whole storage devices started and where it is today you will be amazed. The whole running off the cloud idea is interesting if it can be guaranteed to be stable.

I believe there will always be game stores because lots of people want hard copies theres always people who want hard copies and not a download, plus game stores host events for new games and people like me love going and enjoying the event more people
should try it!

All my games are digital so wouldnt really affect me.

It would not surprise me if disks will become a thing of the past, i actually own more digital games than hard copies these days. That is also me trying to save money and only buying games when on sale in the xbox store

I personally like having a hard copy of my games, but recently I've been buying games through the Xbox store and by doing this you only get a digital copy. I think thats where we are heading, buying games digitally rather than getting a hard copy
