What happens to current games if revert to Xbox Live Gold from Ultimate Game Pass

Can I revert my Xbox Game Pass Ultimate back to my Xbox Live Gold?

Do not.

what you can do is cancel your Ultimate subscription and subscribe to Live Gold again.

All of your game data will be completely safe. Do not worry about progress and achievement or anything. But you will lose access to games included in the game pass.

Say, if you purchase any of those games, or maybe get the game pass again in future, all your game data will get restored and you can continue right where you had left off.

If you want to go back to gold, then just turn off auto-renew on your game pass ultimate subscription, and let the subscription run out. Then get gold. If you cancel Ultimate now, you will lose access to the gold that is included with Ultimate.

Thank you for reaching out to the forum. Nothing will happen to archivements and save games. They will all stay unchanged. You will just no longer have access to the Game Pass game catalog of games. But you will still be able to buy any of the games, if
you want to play it. Just be aware that even though you might have game pass games installed, you can't play them without purchase after you game pass is ended.

That's saying that whatever standard Gold or Game Pass you have on your account will be upgraded to Ultimate when you purchase a new Ultimate subscription. Once you've upgraded that subscription, it can't be reverted back to just Gold/Game Pass (so if you
upgrade to the 15 months and cancel, you lose everything). The conversion ratio for upgrading to Ultimate from Gold/Game Pass is 1:1 (12 months + 3 months in your case). The conversion ratio if you have an active Ultimate subscription and are adding Gold/Game
Pass is different and based on price rather than time (this is not what you are doing currently).

There will also be a pop-up when you add a prepaid code to tell you what's going to happen when you redeem the code.
