What happens to a refund if you can't reply?

Recently, I decided I wanted a refund for a game I bought from 2 days ago. I filled out the refund information and everything, but there is a problem. I want to cancel my refund, and in order to do so I have to login into my e-mail and do the proper procedures
from there, and this is where the problem comes in at. The Gmail account I use for my Xbox account as well as Microsoft no longer exist as I deleted it thinking that I had already switched everything over to my new Gmail, and I didn't. So I was wondering what
would happen if I never respond to my refund claim and is there a way I swap out e-mails as I no longer have access to the one I original signed up with.

Hello Jay,

Thanks for coming to the forums. You would be best to request a call from support. Talk to them and they may be able to help with this.

When you go to Contact Us to get it to request a chat follow these steps:

Step 1 ----select Xbox One
Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
Step 3-----select show contact options

Step 4 ----select request call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

You might want to reply to the refund email, and explain what happened to appeal the decision!

You might be able to get a refund from here
xbox.com/refund. If they refuse, then reply back to the email explaining what happened, they might then change their mind.

To appeal to the decision, you reply to the email that you got, explaining what happened in detail, that way they may change their minds and give you the refund.

You can't reply to enforcement emails,it's the refund ones you can reply to.
