    Hello.

    I found out that i have a green line at bottom on my tv and on the right side, this is only when i watch YouTube on my console. It’s not anything wrong with the console i tried another Xbox and the same happened.

    When i tried to take the just scan settings off on my LG oled tv. Then it zoomed in littlebit and the green line dissapear from the edges. So i took it on again and the Two green lines appear again.

    I tried to put my settings on the LG menu to 4:3 i got a small screen on my series x.

    When i adjusted it back on my tv remote to 16:9 i didnt had this green line anymore, now it dosnt matter if i choose just scan settings on or off on my tv.

    Very strange. Like when i tried out the 4:3 it also didnt show any green lights in the edges. I didnt Even knew that 4:3 was possible to use on the LG tv settings while using the console.

    Anyone experienced this green stripes before? Never visible on games or on desktop, only when one watch YouTube. Not visible in Netflix either.

    Could this 4:3 mess up the picture on Xbox or would it only give me a small screen? So if it happens again i could try out the 4:3 again to change back to 16:9 and see if it dissapear again if it repeats.

    Wow....................erm....................ok.

    1: Im guessing Roku TV is either a specific brand of TV or a set top box or an app.

    2: Can this TV/set top box/app run the Series X.

    I assume you mean can the Series X run on the TV? if that's the question then yes, the Series X can run on pretty much any TV (apart from old CRT TV's)

    3: But missed out the other stuff?

    4: Will it work on HDMI 2.0? yes it will.

    Ive got to say though why are you buying a Series X when you have a TV that maxes out at 720p? that's like buying a Porche but then driving it everywhere at 30mph. You would be better saving your money and buying a Series S, all of the benefits of having
    a Series X are completely redundant if your are using it on a TV that can only display at 720p.

    Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately happens on others TV’s as well, but even if it was/is a Samsung issue Microsoft should have:

    1. Owned the issue and report it to their customer base. Auto manufacturers, drug companies, and food distributors etc ALL routinely send out notifications to owners and the general public regarding product defects/ recalls, etc. Microsoft never does

    2. Samsung is one of the biggest TV manufacturers in the world, Microsoft should be working hand-in hand with Samsung for a solution if it truly is a Samsung issue

    3. ONLY the Xbox-Series X has this issue, No other, including the Series S which is the “little brother” of the Series X

    it only happens to the Xbox X series + Samsung TV. I have Xbox one and a sony TV as well. I tried Xbox X series + Sony TV and Xbox one + Samsung TV. both work...

    Xbox Series X - Black screen while sound is still playing

    It's not the Series X..... It doesn't happen to other tv's.....I think it's a compatibility thing with LG TV's.
