What happens if someone makes a false report?

Try Make contact with the Enforcement team to see with happens about that. Until I Know, any time with someone make a Report, one people of staff go analyze the report, and only later go take providence, and if the report is wrong, how make the false report

This could happen when you troll other people online, but if there are heated arguments online, and you report each other, this will go to the enforcement team, and someone will have to spend time reading over what is happening.

Making false reports just to spite your friends is probably not the best idea, because then the enforcement team has to spend time reading the incident and making a decision based on what has happened, where they could be dealing with other slightly more pressing
issues.

As an ambassador you should know that the enforcement team do not use the forums.You should also know that the enforcement team investigate all reports so if someone does file a false report nothing will happen.

In fact,if someone keeps filing false reports then they run the risk of being suspended for abusing the reporting system.

If you think someone is abusing the report function or their ambassador status then report them via your console

It is somewhat of a yes and no situation. The report system exists for players to report people who are seriously doing something they shouldn't, you should never falsely report someone. That being said, falsely reporting someone could theoretically be met
with some sort of repercussion such as a ban or a suspension depending on the severity of the false report. That being the case though, all reports are generally taken as being serious. You should never falsely report someone because that could get them in
a lot of unfounded trouble which, depending on the situation and reason, could roll back on you.

As Smwutches insinuated, a false report wouldn't nearly be enough for you to face repercussion. You would probably have to spam reports or have a group spam of reports to happen in order for something negative to come about... there is no sense in even considering
doing any of that at all. Not as a joke on a friend, as revenge, or just to be rude. Please only report someone if they're doing something that needs reporting.

None of us work with the Enforcement Team, and you can't reach them on the forums or through support, so we can't pretend to know what would happen exactly. Speaking from personal experience, from a few bad eggs I know... its not good business to go around
messing/playing wit the report system. It is an important tool, and it should not be abused.
