    What happens if I upgrade to gamepass ultimate if I already have the regular suscription...


    So there is this promotion of 3 months game pass ultimate for half a dollar in my country but I already have the regular subscription till January 2021. Do I lose that time left, it will be upgraded as well or what happens.

    Official quote from the Xbox Game Pass FAQ:

    "Upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If you have any prepaid time on Xbox Live Gold and/or Xbox Game Pass when you join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, we’ll apply it to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, up to a maximum
    of 36 months."

    Hello there, first open up your gamepass app and see if you dont already have gamepass ultimate or unless your regular gamepass is expired. If it doesn't let you upgrade from console, try the browser website or buy a gamepass ultimate giftcard and redeem it. It will automatically upgrade it to ultimate. Hope this helps!

    If you don't have GamePass ultimate there is a difference. Regular Gamepass only lets you access play anywhere titles where Gamepass ultimate allows the entire catalogue. You may want to upgrade or change your subscription plan.

    I can no longer claim games with gold. I have an active Gamepass Ultimate Subscription that's good until 3/30/2026. but still unable to claim games with gold.

    I am having the same issue. After upgrading my subscription from the regular Xbox live Gold and GamePass to GamePass Ultimate, i am no longer able to claim the current free game with gold and use discounts for Deals with Gold games.
