    What happens if I buy a game I already can play as a Game Pass subscriber?

    So basically I bought the Game Pass Ultimate last summer as there was that 1$ campaign going on. As you know, Sea of Thieves is included in the Game Pass catalogue. I'm going to unsubscribe the Game Pass soon and I would now like to buy the game for myself.
    What happens if I buy the game now as I'm still a Game Pass member? Does everything go smoothly and continue as normal or does it disrupt some progress-related stuff or anything? I'm still going to play with the same user, of course.

    You end up owning it, so when it goes off game pass, you can still play it.

    You can continue playing as if nothing had happened! Your saves/progress are all tied to your account and once you purchase the game you can boot it up as if nothing has changed.

    You would be able to play that game as long as you want with all saved data that you currently have!
