What happened to the previous WWE Games on the XBOX Store?

I was going to search on WWE 2K16 and WWE 2K17 for me to digitally download it on the XBOX Store in the future, but how come the previous games were removed from the store but I don't even subscribe to the Game Pass?

Sorry but i can’t find Wwe 2k17 in my store and in my games neither. Only i found a dlc. It just disappeared. What happened?

Oh ok I get it. lastly, if I wanted previous games that were removed, I can play them on the console using the physical version, right?

What do you mean access the game? Like opening it when I open the XBOX from the Home screen or downloadble contents and online plays?

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. With these games not sure as to why they would remove them, unless it was from the developers. I did find

WWE 2k17 for Xbox one. WWE 2k16 may have been removed due to 2k shutting server down for the game. Looks as if the server shut down in May, 2017. So 2k may of pulled the sale of the game as it is 3+years old.
