It happened to me as well. I was at 66% overall completion, and my save game disappeared.

Luckily (by pure fluke) I just got a second xbox and copied my save game to a USB stick. I'm back at 53% now and struggling to find the motivation to redo everything. But I suppose it could have been worse.
