What happened to "Ascend: Hand of Kul?"

On my dashboard the cover art has greyed out like the xbox originals titles, and when I try to start it, it seems to run, then it stops and says that a download is required, and than it cannot find the download.

Did I miss something?

Will we ever have cover art for xbox originals titles either?

What happened to Ascend: Hand of Kul I was pretty sad when it was in the market anymore I tried searching for it but it wasn't there does anyone know what happened because it was fun when I played it and now its gone

That game is not part of the games for gold programme.

 

Hey mate, unfortunately this has been taken off the marketplace due to the new update making the game unplayable for new users. The servers will be shut off in November and if you didn't download the update before it was taken down there is no way to play
it.

Yes cover art is a big deal, amiko.

Here's an analogy, say that you bought a book and they ripped off the cover, comrade, and then considered it to be the same item.

It technically is ,but it isn't, Spießgeselle.

I was shown the art when I bought the games, and now it is gone. Besides being very dishonest, like a bait and switch if you will, it looks like crap on the UI.

I liked his ninetieth draft three months ago, personally, but his producers wouldn't greenlight that one. Thankfully they freed up the IP and he went independent. After three months of hard work and some kickstarter financial backing... I think he's composed
the comeback of which he can be most proud. =)

 

I actually miss playing Ascend, it was a lot of fun for a free game. Could've become something great but alas it's dead.

 

This thread was quite fun to read. As far as the game I tried it didn't get Into it. Ducks for the people who like it but I won't miss it.
