    What happened to all my games I bought on the Xbox 360 marketplace?


    So, I just switched to Xbox One the other day and some of my games I bought on the Xbox 360 marketplace years ago popped up to be redownloaded on my new Xbox One. Pretty awesome. Accept there are a handful of games I bought on the Xbox 360 marketplace that
    I have to rebuy on the One, it doesn't make much sense to me. (Some of these games include Marvel Ult Alliance 2, Minecraft, Alien Isolation etc etc). Just looking for some answers, I couldn't pull much up googleing the question. Thanks!

    What happened to all the stuff i bought Already

    So im sure most of you like myself enjoy the use of digital purchases on your accounts to save keeping discs and license keys all over the show. So i purchased a few odds and sods but i mean a long while back on xbox 360 gold, So my question is, if i have
    paid for something on xbox 360 and you lot discontinue the game or said DLC's Where in the blind mothering hell hole do we get back what we had already purchased. Good example would be guitar hero and i have spent proper money on tracks and all of my arcade
    games and some dont exist anymore. Are we forever told "oh well buddy" or do i get something back for my incredible losses.

    Anyone care to explain or am i just being an ass for something i cannot acquire that i have purchased that does not exist anywhere so i might as well burn my xbox 360 because Microsoft doesn't have big enough severs to run all their
    content.

    Only games that are backwards compatible will show up for redownload. Not all 360 games are backwards compatible (like the ones you listed). You can see a list of backwards compatible games here - www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility

    Basically your email,password,pass codes,parental codes and any security proofs you have added,including any security questions.

    You will not need all these to recover your account,but will certainly help if its 12 months down the line and you have any problems while trying to get your account back.

    Removing Gold does not deactivate an account.

    If you buy another 360 console simply recover your account and access your purchase history.

    Recovering the account may only need an email and password but the license transfer may need more.

    Also be aware when you are deleting your data you will not be able to recover game saves,so you will lose your in game progress.

    you could transfer any important ones to the cloud for later use.

    E-mail and password are all you really need. All of you purchases are stored in your

    download history     and can be accessed at any time.
