Burnout 3: Takedown. My favorite OG Xbox game and I still play it on occasion today. My favorite arcade racer with Ridge Racer 6 coming in second.

For quality replay value i would have to go with bayonetta.

I would make an Advance Wars game for ios and whatever console(s) I own at the time because it's a great franchise that has not had a new game for years.

 

A Civ 5 type game, because 1) there aren't enough games like this on the console & 2) It isn't a shooter.

 

A game that's complete on arrival and doesn't require 86 patches to "fix" it.

 

The Basics:

CO-OP: This is the best part of survival and/or zombie games.

There needs to be harsh consequences for death. (Think Day Z, Dark souls or even State of Decay)

I would love to see MMO similar to what I expect destiny to be. Open world with the ability to team up against zombies or against fellow survivors.

There needs to be a some what high degree of difficulty. I don't want everyone to start off with lmgs, tanks and crazy fortresses. Ammo needs to be somewhat scarce and weapons need to be equally as scarce with different levels of efficiency. If you take
damage, you should really take damage. No automatic health regen.

There should be a way to build cool structures/fortresses....Take a page from minecraft. Time consuming, but manageable. Anyone should be able to build a hut, but building something impressive should take time and a little bit of luck finding important
materials.

Hordes should be a real threat that you need to run from. Unless you have a team of 10+ members who have been playing long enough to find decent weapons and have amassed a stock pile of ammo, a horde should be a frightening sight.

Make Midnight Launch Important:

Have 'real' worlds that start out normal on midnight release. i.e. spawning into a world similar to GTA V. (Each world could be it's own server)

Stores stocked with food, all houses have locks on their doors. Gun shops have a limited supply of hand guns, rifles, shotguns and ammo. You can also find randomly spawned weapons inside houses. Gas stations full of gas. A fair amount of working vehicles.

Have the world evolve itself.

Each time a person dies in game that persons character becomes a zombie with AI. Each time a vehicle is in an accident, it needs to be repaired or there will be one less vehicle in the world.

After a few weeks people will really need to scavenge for food....Looking in basement pantries, eating questionable berries in the woods, ect.

Every time a house is burned down, it is permanently gone. Structures would need to be rebuilt from scratch.

Trolls could become bandits. Friends/clans could try to build up colonies and defend them.

Towards the end of the xbox ones life span I would like to see a huge world with different cities/areas. Image starting the game out in a field.....finding a farm similar to the one in the walking dead...building up a crew and defenses. Then if you wanted
to, hop in a truck and hope you can find enough gas along the way to reach towns to scavenge...or even risk going into a large city (maybe even a real city like chicago, new york, moscow, tokyo)

Take the best parts of different games and combine them into a gaming Gem:

Take the destruction from Battlefield (There wont be tanks or AC130s so it wont be so dramatic)

The mechanics of a 3rd person shooter like Red Dead Redemption.

The building blue prints from Minecraft (Slightly more technical)

The survival factor of Dark Souls or Day Z

I would make a horrible call of duty game.

And I would make millions of dollars from it.

 

Most likely a hack-n-slash game.

 

Surfing game with real-time updates for wave conditions. With simulator options. Want a 500 foot wave off Florida? No problem.

 

A game with free DLC that's released when it's actually ready to play, In short, not a game with EA

 

"Rumble Roses XXX" though Konami are welcome to beat me to it.

 

@dead dweller - you would attempt to make a game similar to call of duty and fail as everyone else has. Millions down the drain. If it such a simple and played out game how come no one can dethrone the champ?
