What does warthog code give you?

I know that with the code, you can drive with the warthog from Halo, but does the code give you the car, or does it give you the ability to be able to buy it? I know some of Forza's dlc is like that, so I'm just asking

Forza 3 Warthog not appearing in ready to install

I'm having the same problem. The Warthog was a 10MB file titled "Gift Car Halo Warthog".

I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition bundle with early access on Sept23 and installed the pre-order download. I then redeemed my code from the message which is still in my XBL messages and the 10MB Gift Car Halo Warthog file appeared in my FH3 manage game
files. Then I downloaded the FH3 Demo and played it, the warthog file simultaneously appeared in my manage game files for the demo and the full game pre-order dowload. I then uninstalled the demo and the warthog file was no longer listed under manage game
for the full game pre-order download. I uninstalled the full game and restarted my console and reinstalled the full game pre-order download and the warthog file is not listed under manage game or ready to install. I then reinstalled the demo and the warthog
file doesn't appear under manage game or ready to install for the demo or the full game pre order download. I checked my purchase history and the warthog code redeem does not appear there. I as well suspect that the issue is that the full game has not yet
launched which is scheduled for Sept27. If the warthog file appears for me upon the start of early access Sept23 I'll try to give an update if this issue is still open. If it does not appear I will wait until Sept27 to give an update.

No you don't have to give squad orders

But you control warthogs to destroy tanks and vehicles like cod 4

I am also experiencing issues with my Warthog code, but we should give it some time for this problem to be fixed. There are other vehicles that will keep you entertained in the mean time.

Did halo 5 have to be installed in order to get the warthog code because I have to uninstall halo 5 for space so if it did miss me can I have the warthog code please if it has not gotten to me yet what wave am I
