What does troubleshooting on xbox one do?

What does it stop you at?

Does it display some kind of error, or go back to the home screen?

If it does the latter, then I would suggest troubleshooting this with the steps outlined in “My Xbox One game won’t start or freezes during gameplay” and
see if that helps with the issue.

What type of headset is being used? Is it a stereo headset or chat headset? What brand is being used like Turtle beach, Afterglow, etc.

Does it give an error message when trying to chat in party? Does it light up the gamerpic when speaking?

Does the wireless adapter have XBOX360 stamped on it? The third-party adapters do not, and the troubleshooting path is different if you have a genuine Microsoft XBOX360 adapter than if you do not.



If it has XBOX360 stamped on it, does it have one antenna or two?



What is the LED light on the adapter doing when you plug it in?
