What does Invalid user name

It depends on the context of what the user name is in connection to. Are you trying to long into an account associated with Xbox Live? Is this a user name in relation to a game you're attempting to play? Need a little more context to what the request is for. Hope you find what it is you're looking for. Good luck!

Off the top of my head I'm gonna say it means the user name is invalid. Try a valid one instead?

It depends on the name you are using. Are you putting any special characters into the name field or a space maybe? Our suggestion here is to try changing the upper and lower case letters and change it up a bit and see if that works because the name your trying to use could have been used at one point and belonging to a banned account.
