These types of errors can appear before, during, or after a system update has started. In general, these errors are network or caching issues. Try the following:

1. Check your network connection. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, then select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings (any known outages will appear under Current Network Status). Select Test network connection.
   
   • If the connection test is successful, continue to step 2.
     
   • If the connection test is not successful, see Troubleshoot your Xbox network connection for help troubleshooting your connection. Then try installing the system update again. If it still doesn’t work, continue to the next step.

2. Power cycle your console. Press and hold the Xbox button  on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. After the console has shut down, unplug the mains lead and wait 30 seconds. Then plug the console back in and turn it on by pressing the Xbox button . After the console restarts, try installing the system update again.
   
3. If the update still doesn’t work, go to:
   
   Perform an offline system update only if the console is NOT enrolled in a Insider preview.
   

If your console is enrolled in a Insiders preview Offline System update cannot be used to restore the OS.

That account has been made on the Zune Network. Any account with friends etc and has that gamerpic is because of Zune.

Once you press the reset button on your router or modem please wait 30 seconds before turning it back on.

thanks for your help but i'm getting to mad to even want to try and fix this right now so i'm just going to play hockey for a bit. i'll try again in a couple days hopefully i can still reach you through this thread
