What do I even do at this point?

When I opened the Minecraft launcher, it took really long to respond, and I decided to restart my pc. That didn't help. Eventually Minecraft responded and logged me out of my account. I tried reconnecting with my Microsoft account as usual, but it would just say that I have no internet (which I definitely do). I tried finding tutorials but failed. I noticed if I connect to my phone and not my ethernet - everything works as usual, but when I plug it back in, the Minecraft launcher no longer works (my ethernet works fine). Eventually I decided to uninstall the Minecraft launcher and redownload it from the Microsoft store but now when I try to download any app from the store it just doesn’t do it. I click install and nothing happens. Another thing. Whenever I restart my pc today, this new Xbox app keeps starting up. I can’t delete it cause it’s not in control panel. All it does is get stuck on the loading screen. Just frozen. I'm lost, frustrated and tired. This has never happened to me before. Then I tried downloading Minecraft from the official website but when I open the installer, it’s just stuck on "starting installation". what do I even do? Some people say I need to reinstall windows. Others that I need to reboot my router/modem. A bit earlier I ran the windows Microsoft store app troubleshooter, and it found some errors. After uninstalling the Minecraft launcher, no errors we're found. What do I do?

Sorry to hear that, before considering to reinstall windows please try the next:

A. Reinstall the Microsoft store and all its components, use method 1. Lester response.

If you're on windows 10 steps are the same, you just need to download windows 10 ISO

Hi Nathan, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Have you tried copying the USB to your hard drive and loading it from there. That's what I would try. I have had trouble with USB sticks loading and saving slowly.

As the other poster said it's just bragging rights, and in the SOCIAL tab of your Xbox profile it'll show you the gains you've made for the month, compared to people on your friend's list.
