    I have an 8 digit cod and there is only a 6 and 10 digit code box

    I'm Anirban and I'll be happy to help you.

    I believe it's an account security setting on your Microsoft account, so try to login to your Microsoft account and go to the security section and see if you got something. Then try again to sign-in on the xbox.
