What do I do if Microsoft sent me a replacement controller but it has stick drift?

I'm sorry you have this problem, researching on the internet I was able to find that in the forum, the independent advisor Gerardo, recommends the following steps for a solution.

Usually this represents a hardware problem or a factory defect, but to be sure, check if the problem persists after updating your Xbox controller using the instructions at the following link:

You just have to follow the steps provided by the page, which is basically to find the serial number of the control, enter it at the bottom of the page and follow the steps that will be indicated.

That's called stick drift and has nothing to do with this firmware issue. Your controller is broken, you can have Microsoft fix it for a fee or replace it. But no software update will fix stick drift.

Typically when a controller get stick drift the best thing to do is replace the controller.

If it is still under warranty you can sent it in for repair/replacement

I have two controllers BOTH with drift issues. The one left thumb-stick drifts upwards and the other one has a right thumb-stick drift issue that drifts upward.

Like what the heck am I suppose to do. #SMH

So i got my replacement controller i just got it in today and this one has stick drift LIKE REALLY BAD is it just that this controller isnt made correctly or what?????
