    If the hacker changed the data you originally had as your primary email, it will be very difficult for you to get your account back.

    Please try to follow the hacked or compromised account recovery guidelines of this tool:

    If you somehow find the new email address associated with your account, fill out the recovery form with that information.

    yeahh..I hate to say this , but your son handed out his password and email combination to someone. Kids frequently do that. Particulary when they have been told they will get some kind of reward. I know you won't go along it, but MS believes your account
    cannot be hacked at random by someone. I believe I am right simply because of the statement "he thinks he knows who hacked him". I would bet you this is a "friend" whom he knows and at one time gave him the login info. The chances of someone just sitting
    down and randomly guessing both the email and password is astronomical.

    The only way his account could have been accessed by somebody else is if he gave them the login information. What I would do is sign in to his account and check his download history. Anything he has purchased should be able to be re-downloaded again from
    there. Then change his password.
