What do I do about this? It says that a chapter is installed but it’s not installed in game...

If you are experiencing an issue , you can try the following steps:



1. Restart the game and check if the chapter appears.

2. You may need to download or install additional content on your Xbox when purchasing a new chapter. Here are the steps to do that:

• Select “My games & apps”.
  
• Select “See all”.
  
• Select “Games”.
  
• Select Dead By Daylight in your list of games on the right-hand side of the screen.
  
• Select “Manage game and add-ons”.
  
• Select the “Ready to install” option on the left-hand side of the window to check for any uninstalled DLC.
  
• If you have uninstalled DLC, you can reinstall it by selecting the “Install all” option found at the top of the screen.
  

3. Verify the integrity of the game files through the game launcher.

To verify the game files for Dead by Daylight on Xbox One, you can follow these steps:

• Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
  
• Select "My games & apps" from the menu.
  
• Highlight Dead by Daylight and press the Menu button on your controller.
  
• Select "Manage game & add-ons" from the menu.
  
• Select "Saved data" from the left-hand menu.
  
• Highlight the "Reserved Space" option and press the Menu button on your controller.
  
• Select "Delete" from the menu.
  
• Restart your Xbox One console.
  
• Launch Dead by Daylight and the game files will be verified automatically.

While Smartglass synched with the game it was only on the fourth time of doing so that it unlocked the achievement.

It's a still a good game but something feels off about it. I'm going to install The Lost Chapters on my PC and see if I can nail it down.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your Xbox console? If yes, you may need to unplug the hard drive and then perform a powercycle before reinstalling the game, keep the hard drive unplugged.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If you don't have an external hard drive you may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Sorry i typed one of the threads wrong. I was meant to say that the games are not appearing in the ready to install section and what i should do about it?
