What did Microsoft/Xbox do with my old Gamertag and gamerscore?

Hi everyone,

I was retired for 7 years of videogames, and my surprise when I bought my Xbox one is that my old xbox 360 account with 30k gamerscore it's gone..

How can I get it back? This account has my whole xbox 360 achievements/career (I'm using the same email that I used on that time).

I can't believe Microsoft shut it down just like that, I want it back, please help me out

Yes, I am sure it's the same account :/

I am very disappointed, I had some very hard and long time achievements there.

Microsoft have a policy now, if you have not used your Microsoft account in 5 years, then the account is automatically closed. Everything you had on your account is also removed. This includes Xbox, Office, and any other services you may have had from
Microsoft.

Are you sure you are using the same email address that you used back then?

You can try and contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and give them your old gamertag and they can tell you for sure whether or not their is an account still open with that gamertag and if you can verify ownership of the account they
can tell you what the exact email address is that is associated with the account.

Were you using a gamertag from the old gamertag system? Your Xbox profile is associated with your Microsoft account. You should not lose any gamerscore.

It is probably a sync issue. Try to sign in on the Xbox website and your gamerscore should show fine there.
