    What controler works with Flight Simulator Cloud gaming on PC's xbox app


    Hello, I have ultimate pass for cloud gaming.

    My PC is not very robust so I can not have the app installed locally.

    Playing the game in cloud works beautifully.

    However, playing Flight Simulator with a game pad is rather difficult, so I am considering buying something like: logitech saitek yoke flight simulator. I have not found however any indication or counter indication to have it working with cloud games.
    I have noticed already keyboard and mouse does not seem to work (or are not interfaced/mapped with the games I have been playing with), so if I buy this controler will it work? What should I check to know if this is or is not compatible?

    Thrustmaster T-FLIGHT HOTAS ONE compatibility with Cloud Gaming

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    It is compatible with Xbox One but if you're playing Microsoft Flight Simulator through cloud gaming it will not work because according to Xbox Support:

    "Flight sticks and other non-standard controllers are not yet supported on Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft Flight Simulator can be played on an Xbox One console via cloud gaming using an Xbox Wireless Controller or Xbox-licensed gamepad."

    Hi Martina,

    Unfortunately not. Cloud gaming is currently only compatible with wired and Bluetooth controllers (not steering wheels, joysticks or any other type of peripherals). So your son would need to install MSFS 2020 and play natively to play the game with a Thrustmaster - a Series X|S or compatible PC would be required for this.

    Just a friendly reminder though that if you're playing the game on Cloud Gaming according to Xbox support: "Flight sticks and other non-standard controllers are not yet supported on Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft Flight Simulator can be played on an Xbox One console via cloud gaming using an Xbox Wireless Controller or Xbox-licensed gamepad."

    This is the reason why it's working for War thunder and not for Microsoft Flight Simulator which you've been playing on cloud gaming.

    To clarify, are you playing the game through cloud gaming? Because if yes, I apologize but it's not yet supported. According to Xbox support:
