what computer should i get to use box app

hi

i have an xbox one coming tomorrow and the main reason i got one over a ps4 is to use the xbox one app but i need to get a windows 10 computer for this to work, What im really asking is how powerful does the computer need to be i don't want to spend a lot,
can a mini pc running a intel celeron N2807 and 4gb of ram run the app fine streaming games from the xbox without any lag. I will also being using a wired network to try cut any lag out.

if the app itself broadcasts in 1080 than yes... xbox one is piggybacking the digital(hd) tv boxes so i am going to say 100% yes if the app itself can produce hd streaming than xbone can support itClick to expand...

If the game for example is broadcast in HD then that is what the Xbox One should be getting. Since it gets the feed right through the app it doesn't matter what cable network you are on if you use the app.

What is it?

I've never used X box and am wondering about the X box program which is apparently installed on my Window 10 computer because I can see it's icon on the start menu. I would like to try out X box games. Do I have to go out and buy one or can I open this
program (you call it an app probably) and play on a cloud somewhere?

Or maybe the X box access software is already in my computer so that I can access the external X box from within the computer and use the same monitor.

Anyone know? Can anyone tell me the reason for the X box icon on the start menu?

I would not recommend getting a PC for the Xbox App as it generally does not work and is generally very buggy, however any computer with windows 10 can run the windows app, requires essentially nothing.

It should say on the box what the contents are. I don't believe that the headset is included in every box. Let us know what the contents on the box says.

I appreciate your reply. Have you tried signing in your account on another computer to check if you will get the same issue? Let's try to uninstall the Xbox app on your computer by performing the following steps:

Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.  

Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.  

Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage  

Hit Enter.  

Launch Windows Store and download the Xbox app.

Let us know if that works for you.

What part of this didn't work? It should be pretty straight forward, cable box to Hdmi input on xbox one, xbox one hdmi out to tv. Click on the tv app on the xbox one, and than use cable box remote to switch tv channels.
