What can i do to my newly bought xbox 360 working for long years?

Not quite sure what you are asking. There is no real way of protecting other than ensure that you keep it well ventilated and the vents dust free.

Other than looking after it and keeping it clean, the biggest failure after the old RROD issues is a failed DVD drive.

Usually the laser or the DVD drive motor fails. But you can limit this by installing all of your disc games to the hard drive, or external drive.

Installed games run entirely from the HDD with the disc only accessed initially to verify ownership. Even if the hard drive fails, you can swap it out.

I used to vacuum seal all my old consoles keeping then in tip top condition but only if i weren't going to use them again. I have done this for my 360, Nes, Gamecube even all my DS and PSP's

-For the console, I will be in your place, out of evidence (ventilation, dust protection, moderate use, cleaning ....) I will get Xbox 360 of the same generation
but out of order (you can buy by entire pallet on the internet and you will have a lot of spare parts for cheap) and I will start learning the basic repairs on the machine. There are number of tutorial on internet, I already myself tinkered a package of 360
(must say that it is not the most reliable machine that is !!!)

probably will not play anymore at this time but it is likely that they died before that date. Out of storage tips, protection against shocks, humidity, dust etc etc .... there is not necessarily much to say except if possible in the context of sustained use
the use of backup (literally copy) which is legal if you own the original (to see according to the national regulations of your country).

I tested my connection and my Xbox Live connection to my Xbox and to the Internet works fine.

I deleted my profile off my Xbox 360S. I tried to sign in with a newly created profile and it says my username and password are incorrect.

Yet when I log into this site the username and password work fine.

Now what do I do? How do I connect my Xbox 360S to XBLive? thanks
