what can i do to delete a game that will not allow me to uninstall from my device?

I can't remove a device from my account either. It re-appears after I delete it from the account. This is stopping me from adding my new device to my account because I am at the max.

Can this limit for devices be suspended (or at least allow us to add one more device) until this problem is resolved?

Thanks for the reply at least now I know there is nothing I can do to get it back. I uninstalled it as I have done it the past to get it playable again but this time it's in the store but says it's not compatible with my device and doesn't allow me to
reinstall it. I think there were to many adds for other games that messed it up.

I've seen this post on several topics on here but the question I would like answering is:

If I've finished with a game, deleted it from my HDD and taken it to a store to trade it in, how is that store going to know if I have actually uninstalled it from my profile and they are not buying a "paperweight" from me?

If they are happy to accept my trade in and then re-sell it to someone (and I haven't deleted it from my profile) that new user is going to be paying for a pre-owned game and then a 2nd fee to allow him/her to play it!

Uninstalling my antivirus allowed me to download and install the games I wanted. Then I reinstalled my antivirus software and I can still play my games. I won't do that again until a fix is rolled out, but it worked.

The easiest way is to do these steps:
1. unplug the device
2. remove the device from Windows by going into the Device Manager and deleting the device.
3. restart the pc
4. When it has restarted, plug the device back in and you should see the popup again.
