Hello, I do not have 2-step on and I have tried the reinstatement form twice, both automatically declined. And they were about ~20 minutes apart, on two emails I use, but it appears Microsoft staff doesn't read it or they just do not wish to help me. (Hopefully not that part.)

I tried multiple times but my Microsoft account is banned/blocked for reasonings I do not understand, I have broken no rules, or anything against TOS. It has been around ~3 months now since I have been locked out, I sent every detail I knew in the recovery forms which are spot on. But they automatically decline it, even when I try to request a chat, it always says it's unavailable. As I spent around 5 hours today waiting and waiting to speak with a Live Agent on chats. But to no avail.

It seems I have caught a dud.

I'm afraid the only option to recover a Microsoft account is through the account recovery webform (ACSR).

According to a User Myke Ylaya who posted instructions on how to submit a recovery request via the account recovery web form: https://answers.microsoft.com/thread/56a5a7e6-c569-4a7f-8d6a-eb8a1355e34d

"You will also need an active alternate email where you can be contacted.

Note: Try to fill out the form on where you frequently use or usually sign in your account.

After submitting the request, you will be contacted on your contact alternate email within 24 hours. You will receive a reset password link that will take you back access to your account."

Note: If your account has 2-step verification feature enabled, the account recovery webform will not work.

However since you mentioned your account was locked, do you mean your account might be locked due to suspicious/unusual activity? If yes, you will have to unblock your account first by submitting an account reinstatement form:

Once your account is unblocked, you can try to recover your account again through the account recovery webform.

Have a read of managing family account, and childrens accounts on help, full of great information, but not 100% sure you can actually do what your after im sure it's just passkey

The problem is I don't have an adult account, and my son's account is connected to my email...and my other email is used for work...is there anyway to lock it so I can access it?
