What are Xbox going to do?

As most of us know the infamous DDoS Group attacked Xbox's servers the other day. And took down playstation 19 hours ago. Now they are planning a massive attack on christmas day. What do you think xbox are going to do? Im betting nothing at all.

I've been playing Call of Duty 2 to finish it on Veteran. Now that's done, though, I think I'm going to unwind on Sunday with some Battlefield 3 open beta and other stuff that isn't as demanding.

Yes. The pieces may be viewed as actually live action figures, standard chessboard figurines or newspaper notation and you may scroll through these seamlessly with the "Y" button at anytime in the game (provided the pieces aren't in mid animation).



White is given an "Order" campaign and Black a "Chaos" campaign where you basically fulfill a chess challenge (i.e. get a pawn promoted).



You may play Chess normally and the live action creatures will move and take out any captured pieces, a novelty that will wear out quickly if you just wanted to see chess pieces fight.



There are variations where you may have the pieces fight (i.e. you control the attacking piece and the piece you are attacking will fight back and you may lose your piece if you do a poor job). I haven't tried this variant as it's not really normal Chess.



There are challenges, puzzles and minigames. The A.I. is dumb enough on easy that I can beat it and smart enough to make Mrs Azrael think (and she's waaay better at Chess than me).



Again I don't think the game I worth the current asking price (the only place I've seen it available in the UK is Amazon.co.uk where the price has risen from £ 14.99 to £ 29.99) but it is really great to have a full retail Chess game that you can play in
the comfort of your living room and unlike "Chessmaster" on XBox LIVE the computer does not take forever to move.

What do you expect them to do? No doubt they are co-operating with the authorities.

 

Solution: Don't play games on Christmas Day. Go spend the day with your family.

Christmas is about family not playing games all day. Get outside and be a kid

 

I doubt anything will happen. These little kids do not have the knowledge to do a mass DDoS attack. Besides, even if they did (they won't) it would probably only disrupt a small sector for a very short time.

What we are doing here is exactly what they want, for people to talk about them. They got their 15 minutes of fame and I bet we'll never hear of them again come January.

 

Indeed Christmas is all about the family time and it's great times while it last but eventually everyone dissipates to some kind of electronic device. My nephew is going PS4,my niece a 3DS and their parents on iPhone's and tablets.

I'm going Xbox One this Christmas and once the Ho Ho Ho's and Merry Christmas's are out of the way i'm looking forward to hooking up my shiny new Xbox One and i'm going to be very angry with those little kids if i can't enjoy my new stuff when i want. Might
cause me to take my belt off and want to get the spank on.

 

I'll be making the kids play Diablo 3 with me local co-op. =) Family Time!

 

Christmas is a busy time for phone lines.

As a result you'll experience the same difficulties you do every Christmas.

The only difference this time around is that if anything goes slightly wrong, some of you will be convinced you were the victim of a contrived hack attack because you are gullible and believe anything you read on the internet.

 

I did even notice that anything happened.

 

Hacking has become such yesterdays news, they're just a bunch of posers basically. Really Boring,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Unless you're religious, Xmas is about playing games all day long. Here's how it works, Pretend to like your relatives, vanish into gaming room. If you have kids? Stuff them with sugar and wait for the come down. Either way, you should be able to avoid people
as early as lunch!

Personally, I'd much rather play video games than hang out with 90% of my family.
