What am I doing wrong with the xbox streak multiplier?

You're not doing anything wrong. It's just a weekly streak so it restarts every 7 days.

The multiplier increases each week, but the actual streak resets each week.

Then why does it say unlock next weeks multiplier?

i want to thank all of you for giving some sage advice and not the usual ...."you suck" answers that run amuck on these forums .... but mostly a big thank you, to strunky for posing the question in such a manner that the obi-wons have given us their sage
advice ....

Oops I have a typo. The specialization is not called wheelman its called "Operator".
