    What am I doing wrong while trying to change password on my account?


    For the past week I've been trying to change my password because I forgot it. Everytime I get a code and try and change the code it says it has timed out. I've done this multiple times and it just locks me out from trying after a few times. I've followed all the advice on the support page regarding this, and microsoft isn't very helpful when it comes to account recovery. Now it's completely locked me out and I have to wait a month for support to see if they can even fix it. Basically all I'm seeing is if it doesn't work that I'd have to get a new account, which would suck because all my games and everything are linked to my existing account. What else can I do about this? Am I doing anything wrong? God if I didn't use xbox I'd never have anything to do with microsoft because this is the second time I've had to change my account because of this issue.

    WLID is invalid?

    No this is the account I am trying to change my other WLID to, but whenever I try to change my WLID on my xbox a error message pops up saying "the email/password you have entered is invalid please try again." I am able to log into this account using that

    Im having the same type of problem. Im am 17 to and my parents email was her old one and it will not let me change it to her new one. I have tried her old password for her old accont and it is say it is the wrong password!

    i am having this same problem and i don't know what to do. i have tried recovering my account, changing my pass word and email. but i still get the same thing happening when i try to sign in it says We need the email address and password for your Microsoft
    account so we can check and update the security of your Xbox profile. so i enter it then i get to the end of all this and it says that either the password is wrong or the email dose not have an account or some thing like that please help me.
