What access do adults have?

I want to add my Dad to my family account but i do not know what things another adult can access on the microsoft account. I am an adult and my dad is a pensioner, hes not very technically minded so i dont want him being able to make purchases but i cannot seem to find anywhere that tells me what features he can access. If he was to login xbox can he take advantage of my ultimate pass? I want to give him something to do while hes in lockdown, hes pretty lonely.

Adults can access everything. Only children have restrictions on their accounts. To give access to Game Pass Ultimate, just make the console the Home Xbox, then your Dad can access your subscriptions and any owned games you have.

You may already have found this out but you have to go into your profile and settings in your console and change what kind of content you will allow to be accessed on your system one of them is a family or adult choice change it to adult . You do this because
when you choose to download a shared file it might have adult content in it .

Hi there.

Some Roblox content is set up for adult accounts only. A 13+ account will be deemed as a teen account.

It could also be that what your child is trying to access content that must be paid for. It doesn't directly tell you this in game and only shows up with that error code.

Try accessing the same content from an adult account, if possible, to make sure it isn't something to do with the child/teen/adult account restrictions.

Do you have access to this privacy settings page here and can make changes:

https://account.xbox.com/settings

If you do not have access to this, it is due to the account being a child account and settings cannot be changed if the account is not an adult account.

Try checking if you have a family set up on your family page here:

https://account.microsoft.com/family

If you do not have one, you would need to create an adult or use any adult account to add you under family so that they can change your settings for you.

Once you are done adding it to a family from an adult account, you just have to access the adult account and access the privacy settings so it can make changes to your privacy settings.
