The current Games on Demand offer only started in October, so it would not have been possible for you to purchase Dishonored 2 specifically for that offer, since you would not have known which games were going to be eligible for that offer. Again, as stated,
since your purchase was before the offer period, it was not eligible for that offer. There was an offer in September that awarded MyVIP for pre-orders, so that may be the offer you are thinking of. Since you did not have any MyVIP stars at that time, that
purchase increased your MyVIP progress. Pre-orders do not usually award MyVIP.

If you do not automatically receive a punch for your purchase of Resident Evil at the date specified in our FAQ, we will be able to adjust that manually, even though the offer will have ended at that date.
